SFlwrhead

I am so excited to have each one of your children in my class this year. We will be learning so much, and I encourage you to subscribe to our classroom blog so that you will receive an email each time a student or I post something here.  Thank you for sharing your children with me.

Sight Words

This week we are working on the words I, can, am, the.   In math, we are working on sorting and patterns.  We are having a lot of fun singing new songs and making gingerbread men with glitter.  We have also began our author study on Norman Bridwell.  We will be reading Clifford books everyday in the month of September.  We are off to a great start.  Tonight in their folders you will find sight word cards with a note that tells you the sight words that we are working on this six weeks.  Make these flash cards and keep them at home to practice with your child.  Thank you so much for all that you do.
